Easy Banana Oat Biscuits

Ingredients

  • 2 medium bananas
  • 2 cups of oats
  • 2 tablespoons of butter
  • 2 tablespoons of honey
  • chocolate chips – optional

Makes roughly 16 small biscuits

Method

  1. Preheat oven to 180 degrees
  2. Mash up the banana with a potato masher and melt the butter
  3. Mix the banana and butter in with the oats and leave to sit for 5 minutes
  4. Add in the chocolate chips or any other added ingredient (see top tip below)
  5. Spoon the mixture onto a baking sheet using two tablespoons (or your hands) and flatten the mixture down with the back of the spoon
  6. Cook for around 10 minutes or until golden brown

*TOP TIP* 60% chocolate works best, however if you don’t want to use chocolate chips, you can use sultanas or any other seeds, nuts or fruits that you would prefer. The more ingredients you add, the more the mixture might get a little drier, so you might need to play around with the measurement of the wet ingredients.
