Twins born in different decades!

An expectant mother was left surprised after the arrival of her twins came in two separate decades.

Dawn Gilliam from Indiana went into labour on the 31st of December 2019 where she gave birth to her daughter Joslyn. While awaiting her second child, the clock struck midnight and an hour and a half after the birth of her daughter, her son was born. On January the 1st 2020, baby Jaxon was born. 

Reports have stated that she wasn’t due to give birth until February, but she received a beautiful new years gift of her healthy twins.

In an interview with WSAV News the new mum said “We’ve known for a while that she was going to be born first. She’s been in position for most of the pregnancy”… “Of course, he was breech. So, it took a while for him to come.” 

The new father said they were “still overwhelmed”. “Earlier, we talked about how it would be great to have them born on different dates. But here we are with this surprise, different dates, different years”.

What a wonderful way to bring in the new year! How amazing is it to be able to tell their twins as they grow up,they were born in different decades!
