Set the mood
Lower or turn off the lights and light some candles. Turn on a relaxing Spotify playlist to really take your bath to the next level.
Pamper your skin & hair
Treat your hair and your skin by putting a mask on. Go that extra mile and use cucumber slices on the eyes.
It has anti-inflammatory purposes and your skin will love it. While you have time to revitalize your body why not do the same to your skin.
Essential oils are the perfect way to destress and a great way to add a lovely scent to the bath.
Due their properties it is a great way to reduce anxiety and stress. You can use more than one oil and this way you can find the right mix for you.
Our favourites are lavender which helps relax and encourage sleep and chamomile which soothes the mind & alleviates anxiety.
Bring some snacks
Make yourself a calming cup of green or chamomile tea but don’t forget some biscuits to have a long with it!
This is your time so bring with you anything you fancy. Just make sure it doesn’t fall in the tub!
Get yourself a bath tray so you can set up everything you want on it and it will all be within reach!
Continue to treat yourself out of the bath
Moisturise that body! If you exfoliated in the bath it’s even more important that you rehydrate your skin after you get out.
Leave yourself time to give yourself a manicure and pedicure before the night ends! Make sure you stay relaxed to ensure a good night’s sleep.
Put your phone on silent and don’t go near your laptop! How about trying a bit of meditation to set you right off to sleep!
Make sure you have told everyone in the house that this is your special time and if all else fails, send them out for the evening! You deserve a treat!
