Animal lovers rejoice, as you can now either self-gift or buy a present for another that will support animals that are in need across Ireland.
Today, 30th September 2019, the ISPCA launched their 2020 Charity Calendar to raise vital funds during World Animal Week which runs from 1st – 7th October.
ISPCA Ambassador Rosanna Davison and her two dogs Ted and Leo were at hand at the launch to support the charity.
“There is so many ways to help the ISPCA like getting your copy of this fabulous calendar, to volunteering in your spare time or by adopting a rescued animal,” Rosanna said.
The images within the calendar were taken by Michelle, a photographer from the Wet Nose Pet Photography Studio who volunteered her time to support the ISPCA.
“We hope that by reading the heart-warming animal rescue stories in our calendar, that it will inspire animals lovers to continue supporting our vital work caring for Ireland’s most cruelly treated animals,” said Carmel Murray, Public Relations Manager with ISPCA.
“As a charitable organisation, the ISPCA rely heavily on public support,” explained Carmel, “so we can continue our work rescuing, rehabilitating and responsibly rehoming thousands of animals with 88% of our funds coming from public donations.”
The 2020 calendars go on sale today for €10 and can be ordered from the ISPCA online shop on https://shop.ispca.ie.
All proceeds raised will go towards helping many more vulnerable animals.
