Soon you’ll be able to pack a red banana in your kids lunch box.
Yep you read that right…
Fyffes has announced that it will unveil its new red banana at a show in Spain next week.
The tropical fruit importer and distributor said that it will also launch its new exotic fruit and vegetables at the Fruit Attraction exhibition that will take place in Madrid, from 22nd to 24th October, 2019.
Other good news about the fruit firm’s red banana and initial range which consists of plantain, avocado and cassava – is that it is ethically sourced.
“The new Fyffes range of exotic fruit and vegetables is specially selected and ethically sourced from our favourite farms around the world,” said Oscar Dominguez, Business development manager Fyffes.
“Through our long-term commitment to support our growers we provided the structures and took the effort to support our partners archiving the quality standards and certificates to make this exceptional quality range ready for the market and consumer needs.”
