Polarn O. Pyret unveils free repairs

Ethical clothing kids brand Polarn O. Pyret, has unveiled PO.P Repairs, a free service available to all its customers that have purchased any outerwear apparel, regardless of when they bought it.

The inspired programme, which is part of the brand’s ongoing commitment to becoming even more sustainable, is offering a free repair service to fix zips and replace broken poppers on all PO.P outerwear garments.

“We firmly believe the Earth is a hand-me-down, just like our clothes, so this service was a natural development to ensure each garment lasts as long as possible,” explained Mats Nilsson, Polarn O. Pyret’s UK Managing Director.

Better for our planet

Even better, it doesn’t matter if the garment has been worn by two, or 10 kids, either way the customer is still eligible for the scheme.

“Let’s face it, it’s better for customers and better for our planet,” he said.

“Our goal is for at least three children to wear each item of clothing.”

New lease of life

Kids can play outdoors whatever the weather, so ensuring it’s outerwear is the very best it can be, for as long as possible, is very important to Polarn O.Pyret.

Mats added: “We are really hopeful PO.P Repairs will give any of our outerwear out in circulation, in need of some TLC, a new lease of life!”

Simple service

The service couldn’t be easier to use, but first customers must ensure they are a PO.P+ member, its free to sign up here.

Customers then simply have to email the PO.P team with key product details and a photo of the area needing repair.

As well as a brief description, item number, colour, size and proof of purchase if possible or approximate date it was bought if not.

Polarn O. Pyret has said that customers can expect to hear back within two days.
