There is nothing more unimaginable than to be told that a member of your family is no longer alive. Sarah Corbett Lynch, like many, knows this pain. This led her to write on a series of relatable books for children.

Sarah Corbett Lynch sadly lost her mum when she was 12 weeks old due to an asthma attack. She later tragically lost her dad Jason in 2015.

She recently debuted her first book ‘Noodle loses Dad’. This book sees the main character ‘Noodle’ go on a journey discovering how to live without her parents, moving homes and becoming a member of a blended family. This story mirrors Sarah’s life full of trauma. Yet how despite what has happened, you can find hope and happiness again.

Sarah was featured on the Late Late Toy Show, RTÉ and TV3 News where she was able to promote this incredible book. It is an amazing feat to be able to turn your own story into something relatable for children. For those who are going through loss, grief and a new family dynamic, they have something to help.

“Sarah wants to reach other children in emotional pain to let them know that there is hope and a chance to be happy again.”
