Importance of Gratitude

Irish writer Ruth King who is a mother of three has recently released a new book entitled ‘Gilly the Grateful Superhero’ that teaches children the importance of gratitude.

The Kildare native explained that her debut title demonstrates the importance for children to be grateful for even the simplest of things that they may otherwise take for granted.

“As a mother of three, I hope to instill the message of gratitude in my own children as well as for the current and next generation of children so they may learn the importance of being grateful and appreciating life,” said King.

Inspiration

She outlined that she was inspired to write her visually stimulating and inspiring book after going through her own spiritual path which showed her the power of gratitude that she wished she had learned earlier in life.

Easy To Follow

King provides examples in easy to follow rhyme of a young boy who meets Gilly the Grateful Superhero who teaches him how to see the positive in every situation and how is lucky to have the blessings he has.

Jack Canfield, motivational speaker and co-author of the world-renowned series ‘Chicken Soup for the Soul’ has described the new titles as a “wonderful book”.

“I am sure it will help so many kids and families around the world.” He added.

Good Cause

King and her husband are charity advocates for their community and spend time contributing to several ongoing projects for both the children and the people of Honduras.
