Dealz has launched its backtoschool range as Ireland prepares to wave their children off back to the classroom, and as Government issues detailed guidance for a safe return to school.

The PEP&CO brand has grown in popularity, and it is more important than ever following the pandemic that value for money at the heart of the range for families.

With the news, according to Irish League of Credit Unions research, that sending a child to primary school this September will cost an average of €1,186, while parents of children attending secondary school can expect to pay an average of €1,491, Dealz said it is on hand to help families cut costs.

Available while stocks last, the new range offers amazing value on school wear essentials such as polo shirts from €1.50 and trousers and skirts from €3.

Dealz Country Manager Sharon Sheridan said, “We’re devoting more space than ever to backtoschool ranges in clothes and stationery and after the past 18 months we know that value for money has never been more important to our customers.

“Parents love our school wear and we’ve got a growing reputation for amazing value and great quality so they can have confidence that it will wear and wash well,” she added.

Stationary Items

And with a huge range of stationery items, including a Disney princess pastel range, Friends school essentials and a fun Baby Shark range, it means parents can get most of what they need in one place before the new term starts in a few week’s time.

Dealz has always been a go-to store for term-time supplies, but the addition of clothing takes its offer to another level.

Over the past year, Dealz has been increasing the amount of space dedicated to childrenswear, including school uniforms from junior infants right through to secondary school pupils.

Available at selected stores, prices start at €1.50 for polo shirts, but the amazing value does not mean there is any compromise on quality and all the clothes have a 101-day guarantee so parents can be confident they will stand the toughest of school tests.

All woven skirts, trousers and pinafores are now made with polyester recycled from plastic bottles as well as a Teflon finish.  It means parents can buy a complete school uniform – a polo, jersey skirt and sweatshirt from PEP&CO at Dealz for just €7.

Classroom essentials include a Helix maths set (€1.50), HB 30 pack pencils (€1.50), and a range of trusted branded items such as BIC, Maped, Tippex, Sharpie and Helix starting from €1.50.
