AGRIKIDS FARM SAFETY HANDBOOK

AgriKids and Flogas have launched a children’s farm safety handbook, ahead of Farm Safety Week 2021, which will take place from Monday the 19th – Wednesday 23rd July 2021.

According to the farm safety educational platform for children, the book features a collection of safety facts, activities and games.

“By supporting our children and bringing the farm safety message to them in a fun and engaging way we are equipping them with key life skills that will stand to them now and into their future,” said Alma Jordan, founder, AgriKids.

“It’s time we move the message of farm safety from a place of awareness to a place of practice and instinct,” she added.

Virtual Events.

To create more activity and action over the week, AgriKids and Flogas are also running a series of child friendly webinar events in collaboration with the Duhallow IRD community.

The events are tailored and targeted to children aged 4-7 years and 8-12 years.

Running for up to 40 mins the sessions deal with a range of topics from tractors to slurry and with a story time session for the younger viewers.
