White is the new orange

Brace yourself, this Halloween, you will be able to get your hands on a white ‘Ghost’ pumpkin, which your kids will get a kick out off.

The aptly named ‘Casper’ and ‘Snowball’ pumpkins will be available across SuperValu’s nationwide for the first time, from this coming Friday, 11th October, 2019.

When it comes to Halloween,  jack-o-lanterns have long become a staple decoration in Irish households. 

With this in mind, it doesn’t come as a surprise that the retailer said that it expects to sell over 100,000 Irish pumpkins on the run up to Halloween this year.

SuperValu’s pumpkins, both orange and white will retail from €2.
