To celebrate its 40th anniversary in the Republic of Ireland, M&S recently treated guests to an exclusive presentation of the new M&S Autumn Winter 2019 collection in the Royal College of Physicians, No.6 Kildare Street.
As a nod to the fashion eras of the 70’s and 80’s, the catwalk show on the night opened with some of the most fashionable styles from M&S over the last 40 years with key pieces from the M&S archives, including hero items from 1979.
Considering the fact that fashion from the era, celebrated elegance – most of the clothes on show during the catwalk show, would in fact suit moms to be perhaps more so during the first and second trimester – especially the oversized coats and floaty dresses.
In fact, a lot of the collection lends itself well to growing bumps.
The Autumn Winter collection elevates those every-day moments; as effortless style takes centre stage.
The concept behind the collection as explained by the retailer is ‘hearted in tone, the campaign places M&S in real life scenarios for an overall aesthetic that feels honest and relatable.’
