Move over Unicorns, there is a new trend in town and Nestlé’s Smarties are on the case with new Smarties, Llama Edition.
2018 was the year of the Unicorn and trendy apparel, accessories and all kinds of food and drink appeared around the world featuring the pastel hues of the mythical creature.
“This year it’s all about the llama, a totally different animal and altogether more real,” Maria McKenna Marketing Manager Confectionery Nestlé Ireland said.
These special, limited edition packs of Smarties feature bright llama colours, and contain a new, unique mix of Smarties in pink, yellow, red and purple.
Unicorn Edition
Last spring Nestlé introduced Smarties, Unicorn Edition into the UK market and the mix of pale pink and blue Smarties were such a huge hit across the water that they went out of stock before any reached the Irish market.
New Smarties, Llama Edition will be available nationally in the classic Smarties single format hexagonal tube and in a sharing format exclusive to Supervalu and Centra with four different 105g sharing bag designs: Fabullama, No Probllama, Llama Queen and Spectacullama.
